Cabinets take a lot of wear and tear. How long they last looking great will depend on how they were installed in the first place. At Kozak Surfaces, we don’t just “hang boxes”; we carefully design, measure, build, and have the right experts install – all factoring in the specific architecture of your home. These steps are:
- Technical Subfloor & Wall Inspection – Before we begin to design, we inspect your subfloor levelling and wall plumb. If the foundation isn’t square, we factor this in.
- Decision on product materials – We work closely with our clients to discuss functionality in the kitchen, bathroom or other rooms, and to choose materials to fit the budget and project timeframe.
- Cabinet Design – Uses CAD technology; design reviews with customer.
- Cabinet Build – Frequent visits by the Kozak team with our cabinet builder in Vernon, to address any issues and impact on backsplash, countertops and flooring plans
- Installation with Precise Levelling – We ensure every box is perfectly level and plumb. This is critical—if a cabinet is off by even a fraction of an inch, your quartz or granite countertops can eventually crack from uneven stress. We install the sliding systems and handles and pulls, exactly where you want them.
- Scribing & Finishing – Our installers personally scribe your cabinets to your walls for a seamless, built-in look. We manage the tight tolerances between your flooring, baseboards, and cabinetry.
- Integrated Coordination – As a “Single Source” provider, we coordinate the timing of your cabinetry install with your tile backsplash and flooring to eliminate delays and trade conflicts.
